Alex & Rachel were married at the beautiful venue of Canonteign Falls.
This has got to easily be one of my favourite weddings of 2016. Alex & Rachel had decorated the barn themselves, with lots of homemade personal touches and details making the day even more about them as a couple with their personalities shining through.

After the wedding, I had the most beautiful testimonial from Alex & Rachel...
"Eleanor was exactly the kind of wedding photographer we were looking for, we wanted lots of gorgeous photos to remember our big day, but neither of us love posing in front of a camera (I especially find it a bit awkward!), and were both super keen to spend as much time as possible enjoying the day and chatting to all our lovely guests, rather than spending hours posing for the 'perfect' shots. Eleanor's journalistic style really suited this, catching so many beautiful shots of the special moments of the day, and the little things that made our wedding such a brilliant time! We also did go for some posed shots (the scenery was just to gorgeous not too!) and Eleanor was brilliant for this, she knew it wasn't something we wanted to spend long on, yet managed to get an amazing amount of gorgeous shots in such a short amount of time, leaving us loads of time to enjoy the day! The photos kept a fairly natural feel, so was not at all awkward (as I had worried posing for the camera might be!), and with Eleanor's unimposing nature it actually gave us a nice quiet half an hour to chill out and spend some quiet time as newly wedded husband and wife!
Life leading up to the wedding was incredibly hectic, meaning we had to cancel our pre-wedding shoot and rearrange one pretty close to the wedding! Eleanor was excellent about this and really understanding with our continued delays in getting back to her, and changing plans constantly! With all the busyness of wedding planning and general life it was great to feel that the photography was something we didn't need to worry about, and that it was all in very capable hands!! And on top of all that, she shared some great wedding tips, like using a crochet hook to speed up doing the numerous buttons on my dress!!
I would massively recommend Eleanor (as would my family, who sneaked the chance to get various family portraits on the side!!), she was exactly what we were hoping for, and we just love the photos we have!!"
