Family portrait sessions are about celebrating your relationships with each other and documenting your family's story.
Whether you're celebrating an occasion or simply want some photos of you all, a family session is a perfect way to capture moments and create those memories.
my approach
My portrait sessions take place outdoors, at a location of your choosing or I can also make suggestions to help you find the right location to get the photos you are after. From beaches to woodlands, grass meadows to rugged coastline, Devon has plenty of beautiful scenery to form a backdrop for your family.
To help keep everyone relaxed and capture those natural connections, I will guide you through your session with posing tips and activities to encourage those laughs and emotions. My aim is to provide you with a beautiful collection of natural imagery and creative portraits.

Sessions are designed for one household only (2 generations e.g. parents and children). For extended family, please get in touch for further information.

FAQ
HOW DO WE BOOK?
Simply get in touch via the contact page and we can go from there. A booking fee and completed photography agreement are required to secure a booking.
Can I use the photos for social media?
Yes, you're welcome to use your purchased images for your own private social media. It is important to understand that these are not business sessions so if you're looking to use the photographs as an influencer, or for business or promotion of any kind, you'll need to book a Commercial session.
CAN WE BRING THE DOG?
Dogs are part of the family so of course you're more than welcome to include them in your session. Please let me know when we plan your session so we can ensure we choose a suitable, dog friendly location.
CAN I CHOOSE MY PHOTOGRAPHS?
Of course! You will be able to choose your favourite images from the gallery and have the option to purchase additional images should you wish.
WHAT IF THE WEATHER IS BAD ON THE DAY OF AN OUTDOOR SHOOT?
If the forecast is looking too bad to do the photoshoot, I'll contact you the day before to reschedule.
THERE'S A LOCATION WE LOVE, WILL YOU TRAVEL A LITTLE FURTHER?
Travel is included on bookings at my recommended locations between Torquay and Exeter. I'm always happy to travel further afield but you may be asked to cover any mileage or other relevant expenses.
Can you give us some advice on what to wear?
It's important that you're comfortable in what you're wearing and that it's practical for your chosen location. We will cover ideas and tips when planning to help you to get the best from your session.
