There is something quite special about holding a photograph in you hands that a digital image just doesn't quite provide. It connects you to the memory, the moment, the emotions and the place, making a wedding album a fantastic investment. Of course digital files have their place, but an album is a keepsake to treasure for years and even generations to come. Every album is created to order, from page layouts to finishing touches. Available in a selection of sizes from 12x9" (
Styled shoots don't need to be complicated, they don't need lots of props and numerous locations. This styled elopement shoot was shot on a vineyard on the edge of the river Dart with 2 models, one suit, three dresses and no additional props, make up artists or stylists. I loved the simplicity of this shoot, letting the location and the summer evening light tell the story... J&T were married on a scorchingly hot day at Bickley Mill near Newton Abbott. As the bride and her family are from Bulgaria, they incorporated some of her culture's traditions into their English wedding - it was so much fun! K&S had the most beautiful wedding day at Torre Abbey in Torquay. They had their ceremony in the undercroft, part of the Abbey that retains a lot of its features. The ceremony was followed by drinks in the garden and the evening reception in the Spanish Barn. Here is a little look at their big day... #Wedding #TorbayWedding #TorquayWedding #TorreAbbey #TorreAbbeyWedding #Devonbride #DevonWeddingPhotographyer #TorreAbbeyWeddingPhotographer #bride #groom #love #celebration
Ellie & David's wedding was an intimate affair in the beautiful Cornish fishing town or Port Isaac. They were married at The Old School House and chose to have just a couple of hours of photograph to cover the ceremony and formals. I decided to make the most of it and stay in Cornwall for a few days either side of their wedding but the weather really wasn't kind! We had gale force winds and very heavy rain for pretty much the whole weekend. Luckily, the rain eased off to a li
Emma and James were married at St. Andrews church in Collumpton, with their reception following at The Corn Barn, just a few minutes drive away. The church was full, full of people, full of energy and full of love - it was lovely to see so many people brought together. This is the first time I have photographed a wedding with a church band rather than an organ player, which gave the songs so much more energy. Some weddings, the official will restrict the movements of a photog
Chloe and Jason had the most fantastic, event filled wedding day planned at The Old Rec in Chumleigh. I won't lie, this was a very long, hard and very busy day - nearly 17 hours for me including travel. I covered the guests breakfast at a local pub, the groom prep, the brides prep, there ceremony, the formals, a wedding walk (and the return uphill walk in a monsoon-like rain shower), the wedding breakfast, the speeches, the bride and groom portraits, the flamenco dancers, the
Matt and Millie's wedding was such a fun wedding and full of so much love and laughter. The day started with Millie's bridal preparations, everyone was so relaxed and just enjoying themselves it was a lovely day to be a part of. The weather was kind and we managed to get out on to the rocks for some of Matt & Millies couple photos too. Although the bride and groom aren't local, they found the time to decorate the venue, adding their personalities and style to their wedding da
Di and Vicky had chosen have a very informal wedding day and to focus on simply having a great time with their friends and family. Their ceremony was at The Manor House in Dawlish, which is such a beautiful clean and bright space. They kept it very simple, with limited decorations that were locally sourced or homemade. With a BBQ and the main event, a Cèilidh in the evening. It was lovely to see so many join in with the dancing, no matter their age and having a fantastic day!
Holly & David had an intimate wedding in Dawlish with their children and close family. After the ceremony, we headed to Dawlish Warren beach for a few photos in the sunshine. #DevonWedding #Dawlish #DawlishWedding #Dawlishbride #elopement #marriage #love #wedding
David & Victoria were married in the beautiful village of Thorverton, just outside Exeter. They had decided to keep their day relaxed and low key, with a village hall reception that had been so beautifully decorated, you would hardly recognise it! Victoria chose not to wear white, instead she opted for a pale pink dress by Needle and Thread with delicate embroidery and sequins - she looked amazing and I hope she wears that gorgeous dress many times in the future! The day was
Jen & Jon chose to celebrate their day at one of my favourite wedding venues, the beautiful Cannonteign Falls on the edge of Dartmoor. An outdoor ceremony was planned come rain or shine and, rain it did! The rain didn't dampen anyone's spirits, in fact, it just added to the atmosphere of the whole day! I love bridal editorials, they have to be one of my favourite things to shoot and this time, we shot at a derelict location!
The whole shoot was shot with natural light, which was quite difficult in some parts of the location. I feel that this makes images softer and more dreamy and romantic so I always prefer to work this way.

Alex & Rachel were married at the beautiful venue of Canonteign Falls. This has got to easily be one of my favourite weddings of 2016. Alex & Rachel had decorated the barn themselves, with lots of homemade personal touches and details making the day even more about them as a couple with their personalities shining through.
